Follow these simple steps to get started with Geo Localizer

Install Plugin

Install the plugin (ZXP) and restart After Effects. Enable Preferences → Scripting & Expressions → Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network.

Open Geo Localizer panel

Open Geo Localizer panel via Window → Extensions → Geo Localizer (or Plugins → Geo Localizer in newer AE versions).

Connect Google Sheets

Paste your Google Sheets URL and click Load. Column headers should match your text layer names in the project.

Pick Language

Select a language from the drop-down list. Geo Localizer will match the columns with the layers and make the replacement.

Apply Translation

Click Apply — the plugin will replace text layers with the selected language.

Render Video

Add translated compositions to Render Queue or send via Media Encoder — get ready localized videos for each market.
